On November 10, 1483 in Eisleben, Saxony, a baby boy named Martin Luther was born. Martin Luther was the leader of the reformation during the time of the rennaisance. He became a member of a monestary in 1501, and later in 1507 became a priest. In 1512 he became a proffesor at the University in Wittenburg, Germany and taught about Biblical Theory. Martin Luther became very angry with the church and the decisions that they were making. For example he became angry with the church raising taxes to high, for making sinners pay indulgences to the church for them to forgive their sins, and 93 other reasons. He showed the church and the public that he was very upset by nailing a list of 95 complaints to a the door of Wittenburg Castle Church in Germany. Finally in January of 1521 Luther was excommunicated from the church. Martin Luther left Wittenburg, but then returned in the spring of 1522 to control a reformation that was unruly.
